The pickup spot was a little further than our hotel so please plan this experience by allocating a lot more time as it took almost 6 hours to get back to the hotel. The pictures from Sam turned out great and were worth it”

“This experience was exactly what I was hoping for. The beach we went to was not too far but far less crowded than in Sayulita and the waves were perfect. There were maybe 10 or so in the group total but not everyone did a lesson. I was glad the lesson was just me and another student to one instructor, plenty of personalized attention and the instructor was very mindful of our different experience levels and capabilities. I really enjoyed hanging out on the beach after and talking with others in the group too. By the end of the day we were all surf buds. Very much recommend!”

“What a fun experience for the family it was me and my two boys (13 and 11). Ceasar was our coach for the time and he made it very easy for the three of us to all catch a lot of waves. As we were beginners being able to surf by the end made it a ton of fun. It did get busy by the time we ended. Also there were multiple people who just rented a surf board and were out there without a guide that we never saw even catch a wave. Highly recommend getting a coach.”

“Beware of these unethical practices- I have never experienced this type of blatant extortion and we have traveled a lot. I am able to write this review because I paid for the tour but never got to go on the tour- so I lost hundreds of dollars. First they cancelled our group tour and said I had to purchase a private tour which was twice as expensive. I did that. I never actually went on the tour because it was cancelled due to bad weather on the seas. The day of the tour, 3 hours before the tour I saw them say we could go on it. I said great.…”

“What a mess this experience was. I made two different morning time reservations to do the excursion to Marietas islands and the company cancelled both of them and said that only afternoons were available. We did the 315 afternoon tour and weren't warned that the winds can be strong in the afternoon (and were that day with a very strong south wind, but we weren't notified). The normal boat ride was supposed to take 30 minutes or so, and we weren't even half way by then due to the waves. We had to go so slow, as the waves were huge. The boat was not of high quality, the kids…”
