“90% plus of the time is on a boat with very little time for snorkeling (maybe 30 minutes tops) and you will need to be very fast if you are going to do any kayaking or paddle boarding. The time spent doing activities feels very rushed. However, there is good service for drinks and the lunch is excellent and the location for lunch is great. However I would not recommend this tour. Perhaps if we went to two locations rather then three it would have felt less rushed with more time for activities.”

“Overall a great experience. However, the time goes by too fast and you do not get to do more than 1 thing. Get there around 10 and leave around 2. By the time you eat, get in a little beach, and 1 activity it’s time to go. Be VERY strategic in your plans on island. Also, the cooking class was way too crowded and they had ALL participants to make community dishes with no gloves or having ppl to sanitize hands first. “We loved this hike. The ocean was rough and the tide was high the day we went so the beaches were just beautiful rest spots. The hike was just challenging enough. Good shoes are definitely recommended and its certainly not flat walking. Our guide, Juan, was great. Highly recommend.”

I have traveled frequently and often and have never experienced the amount of fabulous customer service we all had on this trip.. Isais (papi chulo) and his crew worked tirelessly to ensure we had a great time. “Be prepared for two things with Vallarta adventures: they are adventures so no drinks with umbrellas served by waiters on verandas, and they can be shore excursions for cruise ships so they do things like clockwork. We liked both. The bay is calm so the boat ride is part of the adventure. Instructions are clear. When we got to the first stop our snorkel gear was at our feet, quick briefing, into the water and plenty of fish being fed from the boat. 30 minutes, towels for all, off to the fishing village. “This tour was NOT WORTH it. Find other tour that do not have huge fluctuations in reviews. I should have known not to book this excursion. The day started off windy and raining..the water was extremely choppy and many got sick. No snorkeling on this tour… Also there was a huge delay in getting back. On our way back, we stopped to help a sinking boat, thankfully our boat was there in time to help those on that sinking boat. The food was low quality… Our experience of this excursion was beyond dissatisfying to say the least… Please read all the reviews and decide for yourself.”

“This was a solid half-day option for first time divers. I have completed 3 other 'intro dives' and this was similar experience. Scuba seminar is fast/brief on the dock. Instructors were nice. The actual dive itself is only about 40min at 35ft; minimal marine life and murky water, but still enough excitement for first timers. If you don't mind beach crowd, the remainder of the day at the Vallarta Adventures resort is worth the remaining time/price.”
